In Sierra Leone , we want to educate children and young people through play.

Education in Sierra Leone is criticised for being too much talk and chalk. Children learn by rote and adults view children who question them as ill-mannered.

Our proposed Children's Clubs will aim to broaden the horizons of children and promote critical thinking skills.

Children's Club will be run by interested local social entrepreneurs and organisations who are passionate about childhood and about the development of Sierra Leone.

Every club will have a core element of
a small children's library service regular critical thinking sessions, and
at least two other activities devised in consultation with the children.

Annually we will organise various literary contests.

'My vision for Children's Clubs is that they will be as abundant as corner 'Fullah' Shops meeting the needs of children at a local level'
